The water cascaded down the falls, now getting close to freezing solid. A single, stray drop of the crystal clear water landed on the black nose of Adderheart. He gave a sigh. This was his favorite place in WindClan territory. He looked at the shining falls, full of memories. He remembered when he was an apprentice training here, and he remembered falling in the freezing water. Adderheart let a grin slip on to his maw, recalling when he had to go to the medicine cat's den for herbs to stop his violent shivering. Then, he remembered that he should be hunting for the clan, few as there was. Adderheart rose as if to stand, then immediatly crouched down again, but into the hunter's position. A rabbit, all fattened up for the Leaf-Bare season, had come to the falls for a refreshing drink. Adderheart realized that he was in the open. Mousedung, he thought. Luckily, the dumb creature didn't notice him, but went straight to the water. And, luckily, Adderheart was downwind of it. While the rabbit had its back turned, Adderheart stealthily stalked forward, and pounced on it, killing it quickly. As he dragged the fresh kill towards camp, he thought, "Talk about easy prey."
