 Guidelines to Making a Cat
« Thread Started on Jan 13, 2007, 10:02am »

To make a cat you must fill out the form posted in the Joining Board. This topic shows you how you must fill out your bio of your cat. If you do not do it as stated below, your cat will NOT be accepted. You may not roleplay your charrie until an admin accepts it. Read this thoroughly, there will be lots of information you will need here

Name: Be creative! Try to come up with something unusual that isn't very common, but is outdoor related. Try to avoid the common endings of names such as 'storm', 'heart', 'face', and 'stream'. Instead try words such as 'faith', 'rain' , 'brook' , and 'rose'. If there are already other cats with the same end-of-name as your character you want to create, try a different word to end your furry feline's name.
Age: Kits are 0-6 moons old, and will not be apprenticed before 6 moons unless there is a very good reason. Apprentices are 6-12 moons old, and when they reach the end of their apprenticehood should have the knowledge and attitude of a warrior. Warriors can range from 14-72 moons which sounds old, doesn't it? But in reality it really isn't, that's only 6 years old. Elders are trickier than the other cats, you can become an elder at any point of your warriorhood due to complications such as losing eyesight or arthiritis. So a typical elder can be from 60 moons to death.
Gender: There are only two choices for genders: she-cats or toms
Clan: There are 5 clans. ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, ShadowClan, and BloodClan. Some cats are rogues, loners, and kittypets, belonging to no clan.
Rank: There are a number of different ranks : Kit, Apprentice, Warrior, Elder, Medicine cat, Deputy, and Leader. To obtain a high position you must ask an admin first before just signing up as one.
Description: Try and be as descriptive as you can as you describe the cat's appearance. Be thorough, descriping the pelt, eyes, and build of your cat. This section should be at least 4-5 sentences long.
Picture Link: This is optional, though preferred. If you post a link, the picture must look like what you described.
Personality: Be creative, come up with something quirky or unusual! Do not always have your cat be "Liked by all, favored by everyone". There will never be a cat who all approves of. Plus it is fun for your cat to have an attitude problem or to have enemies. Like the description this should be about 4-6 sentences long.
History:This needs to be detailed, but it would be better if you knew about your cat's past. Knowing about your cat provides you more to work with, gives more to write about. The history plays into why your cat may have a personality issue and is very important. This should be lengthy.
Other: Anything can go here, this is not required to be filled out.
Passwords: This is a password proving you have read this guideline and the roleplaying rules. If you do not post the password, your cat will not be accepted

One of the passwords is Silverpelt. When posting your bio type this password under the space provided. The other password is found in the Roleplaying Rules.
